Different Modalities. One Philosophy.
Healing the whole of you.
When mind, body and soul work in harmony, we remember our wholeness.
what is it all about
curiosity is a feature of a healthy mind
One of the questions I'm asked most often is, "What actually happens in a session?" The honest answer is: it depends. No two people, no two minds, and no two healing journeys are exactly alike.
One of my favourite quotes by Carl Jung says, "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." I believe much of what keeps us stuck lives outside of our immediate awareness.
Beneath our conscious thoughts are old patterns, protective strategies, emotional wounds and beliefs that once helped us survive but may no longer serve us. My work is about bringing those hidden places gently into awareness, where they can be understood, processed and transformed.
To do that, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches that are often grouped under the umbrella of alternative healing—a phrase that can carry both curiosity and skepticism. Here on this page, my hope is to demystify these approaches and show you that they're not mysterious at all. They're simply different (and more ancient) ways of working with the mind, body and spirit to support lasting change. I’ve tried to be as concise as possible but it is a rabbit hole of healing know-how.
It’s great to be informed but don’t overwhelm yourself. Remember you don’t really need to know the intricacies of all this stuff, that’s my job.
Feel free to skim.
There is no exam at the end.
… Only more rabbit holes…

Clinical Hypnotherapy
What is clinical hypnotherapy?
Despite what stage shows and Hollywood might have us believe, hypnosis isn't about losing control—it's about gaining access.
Clinical hypnotherapy is a naturally occurring state of focused awareness that we call the ‘hypnotic trance’ where the conscious, analytical mind becomes a little quieter, allowing us to work more directly with the subconscious. It's a collaborative process where you're awake, lucid, aware, and able to stop at any time. Most people describe it as feeling deeply relaxed, absorbed, or similar to that drifting state just before falling asleep or waking up.
We are constantly visiting that place of trance; when we drive, when we watch TV (bad), when we scroll our phones (worse), when we do that weird zone-out-and-stare-into-space thing when we are tired (totally ok). When we put ourselves intentionally into that place we get to choose what we do with that state. Hypnotherapy is doing therapy while in a state of hypnosis which super amplifies its effects.
I’ll be speaking about Brainspotting further down. It is also based on the hypnosis trance which is why I love it and find it is sometimes even faster than hypnosis for getting to root cause, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
Conversational Hypnosis also exists, that is hypnosis that happens without a formal induction and with eyes open.
Where does it work?
Much of what shapes our lives happens below conscious awareness.
Our habits, emotional responses, protective patterns, beliefs about ourselves, and even the way our nervous system reacts to the world are often rooted in subconscious learning.
Think about the iceberg metaphor, the biggest most influential building blocks of our lives are below the waterline, outside of our awareness.
Hypnotherapy allows us to work with those deeper layers, where lasting change is often easier than trying to think our way into a different life.
Who is it for?
Clinical hypnotherapy is a wonderful fit for people who are curious, open to exploring themselves, and ready to move beyond simply understanding their patterns.
It's particularly helpful if you've ever found yourself saying:
"I know why I do this... I just can't seem to stop."
Insight is valuable. Oftentimes the subconscious needs to experience something different before your life can begin to change.
When do I use it?
Hypnotherapy is one of the core approaches I draw on, but not because I believe it's the answer to everything but because it amplifies everything.
I use hypnotherapy when change needs to happen at a deep level before your cognitive mind will allow you to accept new stories or beliefs more aligned with your life and your goals.
Sometimes we'll spend most of a session in hypnosis.
Sometimes we'll use it briefly alongside conversation, somatic work or breathwork.
Every session is tailored to you.
How does it work?
The subconscious isn't irrational. It's protective. Many of the patterns we struggle with today were once intelligent adaptations that helped us survive but are now redundant.
Hypnotherapy creates an opportunity to revisit those patterns with the resources, safety and awareness you have now, allowing your mind and nervous system to update what no longer serves you.
Rather than fighting against yourself, we work with the part of you that's been trying to help all along.
How does a hypnotherapy session feel?
Most people are surprised by how ordinary it feels.
You won't be unconscious. You won't lose control. You won't reveal secrets you don't want to share. You won’t quack like a duck (I charge extra for that).
Instead, you'll probably feel deeply relaxed, focused, and more connected to yourself than usual.
Many people leave feeling lighter, calmer, and with a sense that something subtle but significant has shifted.
Because often, it has.
Why I Love It
I love hypnotherapy because it works at the location of the problem. We gently quiet the busy, analytical mind and work directly with the deeper patterns that have been shaping your life all along. Instead of forcing change from the outside in with affirmations we don’t yet believe or painful habit change, it creates the conditions for change to arise naturally from the inside out. It’s like it gently radiates from the inside out.

“I had a hypnotherapy session with Moyra on body image and weight. I have had other sessions with other people, and I can say hers was one of the best.
She is so thorough and able to dig deep into my issues. We uncovered a lot, and I felt so peaceful and light after our session.
I felt physical shifts where I was holding some of my emotions around my body image. I feel amazing now. I'm not so felt critical, and feel confident I can lose the remaining weight.”
— Mayra L Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)
What is rapid transformational therapy?
Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is the framework I use once we're working in hypnosis. Developed by Marisa Peer, RTT brings together the most effective elements of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy and neuroscience into one integrative approach. Rather than simply helping you relax, RTT is designed to uncover the root of an issue, help you understand why it developed, and create new, healthier patterns that better serve your life.
What does it work with?
RTT works with the deeper beliefs and emotional patterns that often sit beneath anxiety, low self-worth, people-pleasing, perfectionism, procrastination, fears, habits, relationship struggles and many other recurring challenges.
If you've ever thought,
"I know why I do this... so why do I keep doing it?"
RTT helps bridge the gap between insight and change.
Who is it for?
RTT is ideal for people who want to understand themselves more deeply without spending years circling the same story.
It's particularly powerful if you're naturally curious, open-minded, and ready to look beneath the surface with compassion rather than judgement.
When do I use it?
RTT forms the backbone of many of my hypnosis sessions, but I don't use it as a rigid protocol. Every person is different, so I draw on the parts of RTT that best support your healing, weaving them together with nervous system work, somatic approaches, Brainspotting, breathwork and psychotherapy where appropriate.
Again, my loyalty isn't to a modality. It's to your healing.
Why do I use it?
One of the things I love most about RTT is that it doesn't stop at asking what happened—it asks why your mind responded the way it did.
Your subconscious has always been trying to protect you. Even the patterns that frustrate you today usually began as intelligent adaptations.
When we understand the purpose behind those patterns, something shifts.
We stop fighting ourselves.
And once we stop fighting ourselves, change becomes much easier.
What does it feel like?
People often expect something dramatic.
Most are surprised by how natural it feels.
It's a deeply conversational process where memories, emotions, insights and understanding begin to connect in ways they often haven't before. Clients frequently describe moments of profound clarity—finally understanding not only what happened, but why it shaped them the way it did.
For many people, that understanding becomes the beginning of genuine freedom.
Why I love it?
I love RTT because people stop seeing themselves as "broken." They begin to understand that every behavior had a reason. Watching shame transform into self-compassion is one of my favorite moments in this work

“The best way I can describe hypnotherapy with Moyra is like someone lifted a huge boulder from my chest.
You must go into it with an open mind and not be afraid to let yourself sink into the deepest part of your memory. I honestly was surprised by the images that returned to my mind.
The experience was freeing. I felt good and knew my perception had shifted. I felt rejuvenated. I was energized and getting things done. Even if something stressful happened I felt calm and relaxed. Releasing suppressed emotions begins the process of healing. Thank you Moyra!”

Transpersonal (Spiritual) Hypnotherapy
What are Soul Journeys?
Some questions belong to psychology. Others belong to the soul.
Most of my work focuses on the conscious mind, the subconscious and the nervous system.
Soul Journeys explore another layer of consciousness entirely.
For some people, healing reaches a point where the questions become less about "Why do I feel this way?" and more about "Who am I, really?" They feel a longing to explore something larger than this lifetime—a deeper sense of identity, meaning and connection. All cultures have had their traditions to journey to the soul world whether by plant, chant or drum.
Soul Journeys include Past Life Regression and Life Between Lives Regression, two transpersonal approaches that invite us into that exploration.
You don't need to hold any particular spiritual beliefs to approach this work. Curiosity is enough.
Past Life Regression
What is it?
Past Life Regression is a guided hypnotic experience in which people explore symbolic or remembered experiences that appear to exist beyond their present lifetime.
Some people experience these journeys as literal memories.
Others experience them as profound metaphors created by the unconscious.
From my perspective, what matters most isn't proving whether a past life is objectively real.
It's whether the experience brings healing, insight, compassion or freedom into your life today.
What does it work with?
People often explore Past Life Regression when they experience:
· recurring fears or phobias without an obvious origin
· relationship patterns that feel strangely familiar
· a deep sense of déjà vu or recognition
· recurring dreams
· unexplained emotional themes
· curiosity about the deeper story of their soul
Sometimes the experience offers understanding.
Sometimes closure.
Sometimes simply a different way of seeing yourself.
Who is it for?
This work tends to attract naturally curious people.
People who have always sensed there might be more to life than what can be measured.
People who are interested in consciousness, spirituality and the possibility that healing extends beyond the boundaries of one lifetime.
It isn't something I recommend to everyone.
It isn't necessary for healing.
But for the people who feel genuinely drawn to it, it can become one of the most meaningful experiences of their lives.
What if I don't want to experience a past life? Can you guarantee that I won't?
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process, and you remain in control throughout the session. My intention is always to follow your goals, not my own agenda.
That said, I can't honestly guarantee what your unconscious mind may bring forward. In my experience, spontaneously encountering past-life memories during ordinary hypnotherapy is relatively uncommon. Most sessions stay focused on the experiences, emotions and patterns of this lifetime—which, let's be honest, usually gives us plenty to work with.
I never ask clients to adopt my spiritual beliefs. My role is to work respectfully within your worldview, whatever that may be. If exploring past lives or transpersonal experiences doesn't resonate with your beliefs or simply isn't something you're interested in, that's absolutely okay. We can steer the session as it unfolds.
Why I love it?
Past Life Regression wasn’t a huge part of my training, through RTT and my other trainings we found that there was plenty of material in just this life to work with! But the more I worked directly with clients the more it started to happen, not at a huge scale but enough for me to devote additional time and training to it. I find it fascinating and also comforting that there isn’t just this life and then we dissolve into nothing or sit inside some pearly gates. I love the idea that our soul gets to learn from so many different perspectives. I have found that many times when a client has an inkling that a past life is calling, there is often something being tried to be made known and it can have an extremely profound impact on a person’s life.

Transpersonal (Spiritual) Hypnotherapy
Life Between Lives Regression
What is it?
While Past Life Regression explores previous incarnations, Life Between Lives Regression explores the space between them.
This work was pioneered by Dr. Michael Newton, who discovered that some clients naturally accessed experiences of what they described as the soul world—a place of reflection, learning, guidance and preparation between lifetimes.
Whether you understand these experiences spiritually, symbolically or somewhere in between, they often offer a profound sense of perspective.
What does it explore?
People often come with questions like:
Why am I here?
What gifts am I here to share?
Why have certain people appeared in my life?
What is my soul trying to learn?
What happens after we die?
Rather than giving intellectual answers, these journeys invite people into an experience that often feels deeply personal and meaningful.
When do I use it?
This part of my work is very soul-led. I never set out intentional to go to past lives or the soul world. Our intention is always on your healing and growth. If our healing takes us to your childhood we go there, if it takes us to last year we go there. If it takes us to meet your soul family in the place beyond we go there. If it takes us to a crystalline planet of pure love, that’s where we end up.
That said, I have learned to respect that when people come forward with a deep yearning to experience something from beyond this consciousness, from the superconsciousness, that there is often deep wisdom there and we do indeed find something interesting to bring back.
Why I Love It
I absolutely love this part of my work. It is so light filled. Soul Journeys invite us into the great mystery of being human. Why are we here? What’s it all about? It is so deeply fascinating to me. Throughout history, people have sought meaning through dreams, myths, meditation, prayer, ceremony and mystical experience that we’ve become estranged from. I see Soul Journeys as part of that long human tradition of exploring consciousness with humility and wonder.
Some clients leave with answers. Others leave with more questions. Some have profound life-changing experiences. Others simply say ‘that was cool… now what.’ Each soul gets what’s meant for them. For me, the greatest gift of this work is that it often leaves people with a renewed sense of meaning, belonging and reverence for life itself.

“I had the opportunity to work with Moyra in past life session. I was looking for answers about questions that I had. Moyra was an excellent guide. We worked to release some Things that have been haunting me from past lives. We cut all ties of the past and I was able to get out of its shadow. I never thought that hypnosis was so powerful. Impressed and it really works”
— Rut E Brainspotting
What is it?
Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy based on a beautifully simple idea:
Where you look affects how you feel.
Developed by David Grand in 2003, Brainspotting helps identify specific points in your visual field that allow us to access unprocessed experiences held in the deeper, subcortical parts of the brain. By holding your gaze on one of these "brainspots," your nervous system begins to process what words alone often can't reach.
Although Brainspotting is a modern therapeutic approach, the experience itself feels remarkably ancient. Throughout history, healing traditions across many cultures have understood that deep healing often happens through focused attention, altered states of consciousness, presence, stillness and the body's innate wisdom. In many ways, Brainspotting brings together modern neuroscience with something humanity has intuitively known for thousands of years.
What does it work with?
Brainspotting is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, grief, chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, performance blocks, and experiences that feel "stuck."
Sometimes we simply can't think our way through something because it wasn't stored as a thinking problem.
Brainspotting allows the deeper brain and nervous system to complete processes that were interrupted by overwhelm, often without needing to analyse every detail.
Who is it for?
Brainspotting is particularly helpful if you've ever found yourself saying:
"I know why I feel this way... but nothing changes."
It's also wonderful for people who don't always have words for what they're experiencing.
Sometimes the body remembers long before the mind understands.
When do I use it?
I use Brainspotting whenever I sense that talking has taken us as far as it can.
Sometimes we'll spend an entire session Brainspotting.
Sometimes we'll weave it together with hypnosis, somatic experiencing or psychotherapy.
Like every modality I use, it isn't the destination.
It's simply another doorway into healing.
Why does it work?
Brainspotting works from the understanding that emotional pain, trauma and survival responses are often organised below conscious awareness.
By combining focused eye position, mindful awareness, body sensations and deep therapeutic attunement, the brain naturally begins processing experiences that have remained unresolved. Rather than forcing change, we create the conditions where your own nervous system can do what it has always wanted to do: heal.
What does it feel like?
From the outside, Brainspotting doesn't look like much.
We find a point in your visual field.
You rest your gaze.
Then we listen.
Some people notice body sensations.
Others experience emotions, memories or images.
Sometimes nothing obvious happens at first, and that's okay too.
Brainspotting often unfolds quietly. The shifts can feel subtle in the moment, only to become obvious over the days and weeks that follow.
Like much of my work, it asks very little from you except curiosity and a willingness to stay present with yourself.
Why I Love It
I love Brainspotting because it beautifully bridges science and mystery and similarly to hypnotherapy, it is fast! Sometimes even faster than hypnosis (oh now I’m feeling guilty that I’ve betraying my first love… but you know I’ve said it so many times, its about the healing not the modality)
On one hand, it's grounded in the relationship between eye position, the nervous system and the deeper brain. On the other, the experience reminds me of something much older. It carries the same qualities found in contemplative practice, deep meditation, hypnosis and many Indigenous and shamanic traditions—a quiet trust that when we become still enough, the body and psyche know exactly what they need to do.
Brainspotting reminds us of the innate wisdom we hold within. When the space is held for us, we can do things that we never thought we would do. We stop trying to outsmart ourselves. We become deeply present. And from that place, healing often unfolds in ways that continue to amaze me.

“This sounded so Hokey but it’s actually worked, I feel much better like its actually lifted!”
— Susan K Somatic Experiencing
What is it?
Somatic Experiencing® is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and chronic stress developed by Dr. Peter Levine. Rather than beginning with thoughts or memories, it begins by listening to the body's own wisdom and the way the nervous system has adapted to overwhelming experiences. The work gently helps your nervous system complete responses that were interrupted during times of stress, allowing it to move from survival into greater regulation and ease.
Notice how it is called ‘experiencing’ rather than therapy. That is because it is simply (but not always easily) the act of experiencing consciously what is happening in your body. Most of us our cut off from our bodies and that’s when panic attacks can ‘come out of the blue’ or we act in ways that we don’t really know why. It is because the body is having an experiencing that we feel disconnected from so it is sending our mind and behavior into what they call dysregulation, what we call ‘a freak out.’
What does it work with?
Somatic Experiencing is especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, hypervigilance, emotional overwhelm, shutdown, and the lingering effects of experiences that your body never had the chance to fully process.
You don't have to relive every detail of what happened to heal from it.
Instead, we pay attention to what's happening in your body right now, allowing it to gradually complete what it couldn't complete then. This gentle, gradual approach—known as titration—helps your nervous system build capacity without becoming overwhelmed.
Who is it for?
Somatic Experiencing is particularly helpful if you've ever said:
"I understand my trauma... but my body didn't get the memo."
Perhaps your mind knows you're safe, yet your body still braces for danger.
Perhaps you find yourself swinging between anxiety and exhaustion, always feeling either "too much" or "not enough."
This work helps your nervous system discover that the danger has passed.
When do I use it?
I rarely think, "today we're doing Somatic Experiencing," yet pretty much every day, I do Somatic Experiencing.
Instead, I notice that something feels stuck, an energy is seeking release, like your body has something to say that words alone can't express.
We’re identifying what is behind held in the body, why it is there and how it wants to move.
The body often tells us exactly where healing wants to happen next.
Why does it work?
Trauma isn't simply what happened to us. It's what our nervous system had to do in order to survive what happened. Your body is not fighting against you. It's fighting for you with outdated information.
When a stressful experience overwhelms our capacity to respond, the body can remain stuck in protective patterns long after the event has passed. Somatic Experiencing works from the understanding that the nervous system knows how to return to regulation—it simply needs the right conditions to do so.
Rather than forcing change, we help your system remember the way back to balance.
What does it feel like?
This is one of the gentlest forms of therapy I use. From the outside, it can look like we're doing very little. Inside, your nervous system may be doing extraordinary work.
People often notice subtle shifts: a deeper breath, warmth returning to their hands, their shoulders softening, a sense of spaciousness where tension once lived.
Small changes. Profound effects. New felt senses.
Why I Love It
I first encountered somatic work while training in Rapid Transformational Therapy. We learned enough to appreciate the importance of the body—and enough for me to realize I wanted to learn much more which is why I embarked on the Somatic Experiencing Practitioner training (ongoing).
The more I understood the nervous system, the more everything else began to make sense.
I realized that insight alone isn't always enough. Sometimes your mind is ready to move on long before your body believes it's safe to do so. Somatic Experiencing taught me to trust the wisdom of the body as much as the wisdom of the mind. Coming back to my body was probably the most profound part of my healing journey.
This practice continually reminds me that healing isn't about forcing change. It's about creating the conditions where your nervous system can finally let go of what it no longer needs to carry.
Everything i do is grounded in the body. The Mind is always either in the past or the future, never in the now. The body can only ever be in the now. When we come back to the body, we come back to the present moment, the only time of action. Our true point of power.
— Moyra Coaching & NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming)
What is it?
Coaching helps us look forward. Rather than asking only "What happened?" it also asks, "Where do you want to go?"
Many of the coaching principles I use explore the relationship between our thoughts, beliefs, attention and behaviour. Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) adds another layer by examining how the language we use, the meanings we attach to our experiences, and the patterns we've developed influence the way we move through life.
These approaches don't replace therapeutic work—they complement it. Together, they help us notice the stories we've been living inside and ask whether they're still serving us.
What does it work with?
Coaching and NLP are particularly helpful for:
· limiting beliefs
· self-confidence
· decision making
· life transitions
· self-sabotage
· perfectionism
· creating healthier habits
· clarifying values and direction
Sometimes healing is about processing the past.
Sometimes it's about building a different future.
Often it's both.
Who is it for?
This work is ideal for people who feel ready to move from insight into action.
Perhaps you've done a great deal of healing already and want support bringing that change into your relationships, your work, your purpose or your everyday life.
Or perhaps you've realised that the way you speak to yourself has quietly become one of the greatest influences on how you experience the world.
When do I use it?
I naturally weave coaching throughout much of my work.
Sometimes we're gently challenging an old belief.
Sometimes we're identifying a pattern that's quietly limiting your life.
Sometimes we're creating a new vision for the person you're becoming.
When these conversations are paired with hypnosis, the insights often settle much more deeply because we're not only understanding new possibilities—we're allowing the subconscious mind to begin believing them too.
Why does it work?
Our brains are constantly making meaning.
Over time, we develop beliefs about ourselves, other people and the world. Many of these beliefs were formed early in life and once helped us make sense of our experiences.
The challenge is that beliefs aren't always facts.
When we bring them into awareness, question them with compassion, and begin creating new experiences that support healthier ways of seeing ourselves, our lives often begin to change from the inside out.
What does it feel like?
This is often the most conversational part of my work.
Clients frequently describe moments where a single question changes the way they've been seeing a situation for years.
Sometimes it feels like a lightbulb switching on.
Sometimes it's quieter than that—a gentle shift in perspective that gradually changes the choices you make every day.
Why I Love It
Coaching was the beginning of my own healing journey.
Long before I understood trauma, nervous systems or the subconscious, I discovered that the way we think, where we place our attention, and the stories we tell ourselves profoundly shape the lives we create.
That realization changed everything for me (again… yeah I know, there’s been a lot of change for me on the journey if you didn’t pick it up!).
It gave me agency. It helped me see that I wasn't simply reacting to life—I could begin participating in it more consciously.
As my work evolved, I realized mindset alone isn't enough. We also need to heal the body, the nervous system and the deeper emotional patterns that drive our beliefs.
But I never left coaching behind. I simply found ways to take its greatest strengths deeper through hypnotherapy, conversational hypnosis and other change work.
When insight is combined with subconscious change, transformation becomes much more than positive thinking. It becomes embodied.
“Moyra is an amazing coach. She is kind, warm and a great listener.
She is down to earth and approachable. I highly recommend her DreamBuilder program which allowed me to identify the areas in my life that I really wanted to transform.
Every week Moyra provided lots of positive reinforcement and unique stories, providing me the confidence I needed to learn and grow going forward. I would definitely work with her again!””
— Karen SConscious Connected Breathwork
What is it?
Conscious Connected Breathwork is an active, non-verbal healing practice that uses a continuous breathing pattern to help the body, nervous system and unconscious mind process what words alone often cannot.
Unlike relaxation breathing or yogic pranayama, this style of breathwork has its own lineage and is designed to support emotional release, nervous system regulation and expanded states of awareness. Sometimes healing doesn't need another conversation—it simply needs room to move. I’ve created a whole page of information on breathwork HERE if you want to read more. This is a summary.
What does it work with?
Breathwork can be helpful for:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Burnout
Depression and emotional numbness
Grief and loss
Trauma and emotional overwhelm
Feeling stuck
Spiritual exploration
Reconnecting with yourself
It often complements talk therapy beautifully by allowing the body to process what the mind already understands.
Who is it for?
This work is for people who feel ready to experience healing rather than simply think about it.
You don't need previous experience, and you don't need to be "good" at meditation. All you need is curiosity, a willingness to breathe, and the courage to let your body lead for a while.
Why I Love It
I love breathwork because it reminds me that your body already knows how to heal.
Again and again I've watched people release years of tension, grief and emotional armour without needing to analyse every moment that created it. It continually reminds me that healing isn't something we force—it's something we allow.
When mind, body and soul begin working together again, healing naturally unfolds.

“Amazing! I did a group breathwork session. It was a cathartic, healing and eye-opening experience. Moyra has a gentle presence and a natural healing energy. Highly recommend.”
— Christine MNon-Linear Movement Method®
What is it?
Non-Linear Movement Method® (NLMM) is a guided somatic movement practice developed by Michaela Boehm, an internationally respected teacher of embodiment, psychology and relational work. Over more than two decades, she developed the method through her work with trauma, addiction, emotional healing and physical contraction, blending her background in psychology with extensive study of yogic traditions. More recently, Steve James helped refine the method and develop the international facilitator training.
Unlike dance classes, there's no choreography to learn, no rhythm to follow and no expectation that you'll look graceful.
Instead, it's an invitation to listen to your body and allow it to move in the ways it naturally wants to.
Sometimes that's stretching. Sometimes it's shaking. Sometimes it's stomping.
Sometimes it's lying on the floor doing almost nothing… yet something, no matter how small to keep something moving.
Your body knows.
How does it work?
Most of us spend our lives being told how to move.
Stand up straight. Sit still. Behave. Perform.
Non-Linear Movement Method turns that on its head.
Rather than directing your movement, it invites curiosity. As you follow your body's impulses, tension begins to soften, the nervous system starts to regulate, and parts of yourself that have been quiet for a long time often begin to speak.
Movement becomes less about exercise and more about awareness.
It's remarkable what the body reveals when we finally stop telling it what to do.
Who is it for?
Anyone with a body. Seriously.
You don't need to be flexible. You don't need rhythm. You don't need to consider yourself "a dancer."
In fact, many people who tell me, "I can't dance," discover they have the most profound experiences because this isn't about performance.
It's about permission.
Permission to move. Permission to take up space.
Permission to stop worrying about how you look and start noticing how you feel.
When do we use it?
I currently offer Non-Linear Movement Method as part of my Conscious Connected Breathwork workshops.
It creates a beautiful bridge into the breath.
By the time we lie down to begin breathing, the conversation between body, mind and nervous system has already begun.
As my community grows, I'd also love to offer stand-alone movement gatherings in the future.
What can I expect?
At first? Probably a little awkwardness.
That's completely normal. Then something rather lovely happens.
You realize everyone else is too busy exploring their own movement to pay any attention to yours.
The music gets louder. Your thinking mind gets quieter. Your body starts to lead.
Some people move expansively. Others sway gently. Some it is so subtle.
There is no right way. Only your way.
As with everything I offer, we move at the speed of trust.
The invitation is always there.
The choice is always yours.
Why do I love it?
Movement is one of humanity's oldest healing technologies.
Long before we had therapy offices, people gathered in circles.
They danced. They shook. They stomped. They grieved. They celebrated.
They moved together.
Somewhere along the way we've become very good at sitting still while our nervous systems are quietly asking us to move.
I love Non-Linear Movement Method because it gives us permission to remember something our bodies have always known.
Sometimes the first step in healing isn't talking. It's listening.
And sometimes the body speaks through movement long before it finds words.
Can I learn Non-Linear Movement Method® on its own?
At the moment I primarily teach NLMM as part of my Conscious Connected Breathwork workshops because I love the way the two practices complement one another.
If you're specifically interested in exploring movement as a stand-alone practice, let me know. As my community grows, it's something I'd love to offer in the future.
“the power of movement never ceases to amaze me with its simplicity… yet so often the body wants to be still. So many of us hold freeze in our bodies that require encouragement over force and gentleness over Ferocity.” Being fully self-directed, this practice meets you at the pace and intensity your body needs to bring Energetic flow back to your body.

Some of the most important parts of healing can't be measured. They even have difficulty being named. But they are unmistakably there.
Every practitioner of the healing arts knows there are moments when something shifts in the room that goes beyond techniques or words. The conversation deepens. An unexpected insight arrives. A question emerges at exactly the right moment. Something that has been held for years finally begins to move.
I think healing happens in relationship. The relationship between your mind and your body. Between your conscious and unconscious. Between therapist and client. Between you and the deeper wisdom that has been quietly waiting inside you all along. Between us and our higher power.
My work is grounded in psychology, nervous system science and evidence-informed practice in partnership with the mystery. Intuition is an important part of my work, and over the years I've come to trust that there is a quiet intelligence guiding all healing journeys. Some people understand that as intuition, some as the unconscious, some as the wisdom of the body, and some as spirit or helping guides. I know that it is divine and it reminds me that we are all sacred.
You don't need to share my beliefs for us to work well together. You don't have to believe in energy or spirit or religion or science.
You only need to arrive with curiosity and a willingness to listen to your own experience.
I'm trained as a Usui Reiki Master, although Reiki itself is only a small part of my practice that I bring mostly into breathwork. More often, what I bring is presence, deep listening and a willingness to trust the unfolding of the healing process without needing to control every step of it.
Whatever language you use, my intention is always the same: to create a healing field where you feel deeply seen, deeply safe, and where your own capacity to heal has room to emerge.
Out Beyond Ideas of Wrongdoing and Rightdoing
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
There is a field. I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
The world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
Doesn't make any sense.”
— Rumi
so… are we doing this?
Book a Free Consultation.
If you've made it this far, you might be wondering which of these approaches is right for you.
You know my answer, you don't need to know. (While also if you’re like ‘that sounds cool’ then we absolutely should go there!)
Most people don't arrive saying, "I need Brainspotting," or, "Today's the day for hypnotherapy." They come because they're anxious, grieving, burnt out, stuck, or simply know that life could feel different.
My job is to understand your story, listen to your nervous system, and weave the best approaches that support your healing.
The modality is never the healing. You are.
These are simply the tools we use to help you remember what has always been there beneath the survival, the stress and the stories you've had to carry.
If you're still curious about working together, the best place to begin is a consultation. We'll talk about what's bringing you here, answer your questions, and together decide what feels like the right next step.
You don't need to have it all figured out.
That's what I'm here for.
What People Are Saying
“Before my session with Moyra, I felt lost and all over the place. I felt as if I had no idea on who I was, I created a persona that pleased everyone else but lost who I was in the process. I was unsure if hypnotherapy would work for me, because I was very guarded and closed off.
Since our session, I’ve gained my sense of purpose, I no longer feel the need to people please. I was able to get down to the root cause on subconscious issues that I’ve dealt with for many years and was able to overcome and heal. I am still a work in progress but I am now excited and prepared to see where my new found self takes me next. No Fears, No Doubts, Only Self Love. I totally would recommend Moyra to everyone.”
— LaToya S “I was looking to move through some money blocks, create more income and financial freedom in my life. Moyra guided me to connect to an emotional moment in my past that brought up an old paradigm of guilt around having money.
I’ve since created a small side income stream and saw an increase in clients in my business as well! Moyra is a wonderful human being and a highly skilled hypnotherapist, guide and coach!
Moyra’s work would highly benefit anyone who is willing, receptive and looking to shed old limiting beliefs in service of their growth (and new awesome results!). I absolutely recommend her!”
— Nate R“Not only did Moyra clear up the inner issues that I had, but she also helped reveal and clear up other deep issues that kept appearing in my life and IT WORKED!
Moyra has a soothing voice and incredible gift for reaching into your inner child and healing the limiting beliefs that you’ve carried around for a life time.
YOU REALLY WILL NOT REGRET investing in yourself and skipping years of therapy - one session and 21 days of simply listening to the message can cure you and reshape your beliefs into loving new beliefs.”
