Sleep is one of the most fundamental human necessities. Sleep is nature’s healer and restorer. We can last moments without oxygen, days without water and weeks without food. Without sleep we could last 6-7 painful days. Sleep deprivation is so harmful that it is a method of torture. And yet for many, it is its own oppressor.
